Born dusty
Farm roads, horses, dirt bikes and songs.
Born on April 13, 1997, on a farm outside Nashville, Tennessee, Dakota Wilder grew up with dust on her boots, wind in her hair, and music never far from reach.
Most days were spent chasing dirt roads on a bike with her daddy or riding her dark brown horse, Socks, until the sun disappeared behind the fence line.
She came home dirty, tired, and happy... the kind of tired that only comes from living a full day outside.
After high school, Dakota travelled the world, collecting stories, heartbreaks, hard lessons, and the kind of life experience no classroom could ever teach. A few loves came close. One still carries part of her heart.
Her songs come from all of it - the dust, the distance, the almosts, the goodbyes, and the feelings people are too proud to say out loud.
